WolfLAN Servers

I know that noone visits the site anymore, but still

I have created a couple of servers for the Old Schoolers out there.

OpenArena is a completely open source port of Quake 3 Arena. Due to licensing and keeping under the GPL, they have ported Q1 maps over to it and the support seems to be growing. Check out the FFA server at www.wolflan.com:27960

There is also a mod for OpenArena that (with some config tweaking) allows for a close approximation of RocketArena. It is called the EliminationB13 mod - Check out the server at www.wolflan.com:27961

OpenArena is available from www.openarena.ws and the EliminationB13 mod is linked from their Development forum. They are entirely free and do not require the original Q3 Arena to play.

I have also setup a Jihad SoF2 server over at www.wolflan.com:20100

Welcome to the new look WolfLAN website.

I decided to go for a much cleaner and faster approach. PHP Nuke has served its purpose, all of the additional features it makes available are fantastic, but are no longer needed and what we are left with is quite a bloated system with a considerable amount of security holes.

My hope is that this site will result in less spam, although wherever a forum exists, spammers will follow.

The idea behind the new site is to be a portal for reviews and for LAN Parties. You can add your own events to the calendar and publish reviews if you see fit.

Obviously, we will try to post our own reviews regularly.

I have managed to transfer the users across although you will need to update your profiles, but forum posts were impossible.
